I think that is a whale head to the bottom right and its body is being slaughtered by Japanese

Fact and Opinion
Take a look at the picture above, a whale is being carried in a truck that is too small for the whale. And the whale guts are being poured onto the streets of Japan . It looks as if the guts leaked nearby a person's motorbike. It also looks as if its a horrible sight for him to bear. This is a very disturbing sight for many people living in Japan. Some people are probably against the idea of killing whales but have to bear to see this sight of their fellowmen killing whales. Here is a cool fact I got from the Animal Discovery website : Did you know: The hippopotamus distant cousin:The hippopotamus is the whale's closest living land-dwelling relative. they share a common ancestor that lived 54 million years ago. Whales entered the water around 50 million years ago. Here's another fact, did you know the sperm whale can hold its breath for up to 90 minutes?According to Animal Planet, to conserve oxygen, it decreases its heart rate while redirecting blood to the brain and essnetial organs. Opinion- Japanese whale killers are murderers with no hearts and should stop hunting whales because its illegal. Its that plain and simple. Even though Japanese had permission to kill whales, they had to pay a fine starting from 1986, according to Reagan. The picture below shows the Japanese boat named Yushin Maru is pulling up a whale they have killed for research. The poor whale is shedding it's blood into the ocean, polluting the ocean.
Japanese Side
You can never take sides until you hear both sides of the story. Japanese people have a history of hunting whales for food. This is the counterargument of whale hunting. Japanese people were known to kill whales since 10,000 BC. It is a tradition for them to kill whales for food and other uses. Japanese people could argue that killing whales is their culture and it must continue through generations to come. Actually, the Japanese has accused Animal Planet of EcoTerrorism. But why do they hunt whales when there are other food products to eat? The Americans do interupt the Japanese mission. The Americans were the ones who started stalking the Japanese ship and they threw rancid butter at them!! The Japanese is also attempting to press charges since 2000 for harrassment. According to them, they would like to have a "red notice" to have a warrant to arrest anyone who tries to harm them. The Japanese has permission from the International Whaling Commission to hunt whales in the Antartica. In an article called "Japanese Whale Researchers: Animal Planet Collaborated With Ecoterrorists During 'Whale Wars' Production" by Underwater Times News Service (Washington D.C), the american attacks included,"The violence of the deployment of propeller fouling devices constructed from steel cables, throwing acid, smoke bombs and bottles onto the decks of the ICR vessels and attempted collisions. Sea Shepherd has also welded a seven-foot steel blade to its ships to open the hulls of the vessels it attacks". Animal Planet seems to take the American side but the Japanese media also exploits the Americans of their actions. Some of the American actions are unnecessary such as welding a seven foot steel blade. Maybe the Americans are pretending to care about whales just to be on television.
American Rage!!
Can you believe the Japanese shot at the Americans!! This had a great impact on me because someone from the Japanese research boat shot at the Sea Shephard captain. And guess what, if it wasn't for his metal badge that was pinned right in front of his heart, the bullet would of pierced him in the heart!! In the series, they showed how the bullet made a dent in the badge. The Americans immediately called the media and gave them the news. But the Japanese claimed they didn't have a gun and they didn't shoot him!!The Japanese called their media and showed them the video of the Americans. They tried to cover up their act. I think there was a snipe on their boat but they don't want to admit it!! This makes me think Japanese are the bad guys!!! Here the Americans are going in peacefully to try to stop them and they shoot at them!! This is a disgrace to the Japanese. I think they are killings whales to eat them and trying to defend themselves in a destructive way. This is so wrong. The Japanese are hacking the tails off live whales on their vessels! The Americans never fired guns toward the Japanese, so why would the Japanese do such a thing? The Sea Shepards are self-proclaimed and are risking their lives for the sake of whales. Let's just imagine Captain Paul Watson had died when he got shot then Americans would definitely freak out. If Captain Watson had died, the Americans would make the Japanese pay for killing an innocent American and innocent whales. This would surely put an end to this controverisal issue. Who's side are you on? I'm definitely on the American side. That is the Sea Shepards.

So called "Research"
If you haven't seen the second, third and fourth episode is about the hostages. Captain Watson has sent two volunteers in a small raft to deliver a letter to the research boat. The letter informed the Japanese people to stop killing whales. It was that simple. But when the Americans jumped on their boat to deliver the message, the Japanese tied them up. The Americans were held as hostages until the Sea Shepards comply with the Japanese commands. The Japanese has proposed a plan for the Americans so they can release the hostages but the Sea Shepards have refused. After three days, the hostages are returned to the boat. Then the Sea Shepards realized they were being followed by a Japanese spy boat. A spy boat? Why would the Japanese need a spy boat? This makes them look more suspicious. I don't think they are really doing "Research" on the whales. But why did the Japanese take the American hostages? They could of just took the letter and ignored the messengers. They could of avoided any violent contact with the Americans and backed away. The Japanese are trying so hard to get back at the Americans because they are angry that the Americans are interupting their "research". If they weren't doing anything wrong then they could care less of the American actions. But I have seen a picture with a Japanese man selling whale meat in the market, the Japanese are lying. They are killing an endangered species to eat!! This is why they are so afraid of the Americans coming so close to their ship. They are afraid the Americans expose their harsh killings of the whales so they would fight back in any way to stop the Americans. That includes shooting the American captain and taking two people hostage. This is the wrong way for the Japanese to continue their research. They should just ignore the Americans and continue their research if it was that important.
Meet the Sea Shepard and the Red Sea
The Sea Shepard Conservation Society is led by Captain Paul Watson. For nearly three decades this society has been trying to protect the world's ocean by putting a stop to slaughtering wildlife. There are 13 volunteers that boarded the ship to help Captain Watson stop the Japanese from hunting whales. There are also six types of whales: Sperm whale, Minke whale, Blue whale, Right whale, Humpback whale , and Fin whale. The Minke whale and Fin whale are the two popular whales that are hunted in large numbers. The Sea Shepards have done nothing wrong but came peacefully go give the Japanese a message. Doesn't this remind you of an act of Gandhi? Americans must be outraged by the Japanese actions!! All the Japanese had to do was take at least one whale of each species to research on. But taking a couple thousand of whales from one species and killing them all is not right. They also line the whales up and take out their guts. How could Japanese people be so cruel? There are also some pictures that show the whales at the shore with the blood being washed up. The whole ocean is being poluted with blood! I'm sorry if it sounds disgusting but its the facts. Take a look at the picture above, you can see a certain area is red with blood and is being washed up from the sea. Presently, the world has been trying to go green to help the earth but the Japanese have gone red! They are causing more pollution in the oceans and it doesn't seem to bother them. This is why more people need to be aware of this controversial issue . Whales need our help to help save their species.
What does Whaling mean?
Whaling is the hunting of whales. The Whale Wars refers to the war between Japanese and Americans. Japanese has a long history of killing whales. The year 2009 is to stop Japanese from killing these harmless sea creatures. This controversy has been made into a television series to expose this unnecessary act. The Television series is obviously called "Whale Wars" and it can be seen on Animal Planet on Fridays at 9PM. Do you know whaling dates back to 10,000 BC? Japanese use to use long swords or a wooden plug to place in the whale's blowhole to kill whales. Then technology gave the Japanese harpoon guns. Japanese use to eat whale meat during World War 2. According to Japanese people, they say it's their tradition to eat whale meat, so they cannot stop now. Why didn't they eat sharks? Sharks are more dangerous and I'm sure most people wouldn't mind if Japanese killed them. But whales are so innocent and they are ancient. What are whales used for? whale bone were used in womans dresses. whale oil were also used to light lamps. Thank God for petroleum , Whale oil is now being replaced. in 1984, Japanese had killed 3,908 whales for commercial harvest. In 1980's Reagan Administration had asked Japan to cooperate otherwise pay a fine. A moratorium ( a fine) was passed by the International Whaling Cimmission in 1982 but went in effect in 1986! This is proof that Japanese used whales before they thought about research. They used whales for their daily uses and look at the huge number of whales they have slaughtered! The Japanese cannot use whales as an excuse for "research" because there is evidence of whales being used for other necessities. Just take a look at the picture above, how many innocent whales are killed and lined up. The Japanese people have no sympathy for whales. There is modern technology which replaces whale bones and oil. The Japanese need to take advantage of other natural resources and not an endangered species.
